Transcontinental jazz summit meeting: US flutist Jamie Baum and German pianist Anke Helfrich come together for an evening of musical excellence. Both artists are deeply rooted in the New York scene, both award-winning bandleaders, composers and mentors, and with their top-class ensembles they span the spectrum from chamber music intimacy to rousing energy with melodic subtlety, rhythmic elegance and powerful improvisation.
