Jazz Fetz Open-Air-Konzert mit Big Brass

The Rheinsberg festival summer begins with a jazz party that Prince Heinrich would have loved: young opera singers flirt with jazz - and swap the orchestra for a pulsating big band! Accompanied by "Big Brass", they immerse themselves in the brilliant world of swinging jazz classics - with blaring high notes, velvety brass solos, dazzling Broadway glitz and a pinch of smoky cabaret charm.

It has been impossible to imagine our festival without "Big Brass" for years: this summer, the ensemble will once again present a firework display of big band classics with plenty of catchy tunes. Big Brass unites passionate young musicians who transform the Akademiehof into an impressive sound space with their impressive skills and youthful charisma. The 20-strong ensemble is the official big band of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district music school and has become a real institution in the north of Brandenburg.
