Nicolas Schulze is one of Potsdam's outstanding pianists, composers and multi-instrumentalists. He is active across borders, both in terms of musical genres as well as in his engagement, collaboration and communication with other arts. Together with Constanze Schliebs, he is artistic director and curator of the RARE BIRDS festival, founder and organizer of the JazzLab concert series and a member of various ensembles, and in this concert he will play in a classical jazz duo as double bassist and as congenial accompanist on the Rhodes or piano. Together with Tom Sehrer on piano, he has been working on a duo program over the past few years, which will now be performed.
