Jazz Open 2026: Herve Samb & Band

Hervé Samb is a visionary Senegalese guitarist, composer and arranger who has gained international recognition as a pioneer of jazz sabar. Since his debut at the age of 15, he has collaborated with artists such as Pat Metheny, Pharoah Sanders and Amadou & Mariam and released several acclaimed albums, including Cross Over, Teranga and Jolof. In addition to his own projects, he works as a producer and artistic director and has received a Grammy nomination and awards such as the AUDELCO Award. Samb combines Senegalese rhythms, jazz and contemporary influences to create a unique style and inspires an ever-growing audience worldwide.
