Jazz Open 2026: M.E.B. Miles Electric Band

The M.E.B. (Miles Electric Band) was founded in 2010 by Vince Wilburn Jr, the nephew of Miles Davis. The EMMY and GRAMMY award winner unites former Miles Davis musicians with a new generation of outstanding jazz artists. The band plays major concert halls and festivals worldwide and continues the musical innovations of Miles Davis' electric phase.
The latest album That You Do Not Dare To Forget (Sony Legacy) features previously unreleased studio recordings, including two original trumpet parts by Miles Davis, as well as contributions from jazz greats such as Ron Carter, Marcus Miller and Stanley Clarke. It is dedicated to Wallace Roney and Bernard Wright.
