After the opening act—whose performance lasts about half an hour—anyone who wants to play music that evening gathers their fellow musicians and jams on stage to the best of their ability.
The opening act is there solely to get the crowd fired up and make everyone eager to take the stage themselves.

Opening act: featuring Boyzfrom Brazil
A band project featuring musicians from Braunschweig, Kiel, and Berlin.
The group is a quintet featuring tenor sax, trumpet, guitar, electric bass, and drums.
Their music consists of original compositions, Brazilian music, and jazz standards.
