Jazz and world music for everyone!

Our "Jazz on a Summer's Day" picnic, four open-air concerts on four Saturdays at the music pavilion between the Schauspielhaus and Schloss Jägerhof.

Since 1978, the afternoons in the park have been an invitation to everyone to enjoy culture and diverse musical cultures together.
With Free admission and the request to simply bring your own drinks, a small picnic and blankets or chairs, music enthusiasts come together at the bandstand.

Matteo Raggi has been one of the most sought-after saxophonists in Italy for many years. He completed his music studies at the state conservatory in Bologna and then studied in New York. He has already worked with jazz greats such as Scott Hamilton, Bobby Watson and Dusko Goykovich. Raggi is one of the last great modern swing tenor singers - elegant, gentle and full of flowing melodies. He is accompanied by an excellent group of musicians.

Jackie Vicente 'La Maga' PER (voc, ukulele), Luis Lincheo 'El gato' CHL (git, charango, voc), Claudia Plöttner D (accordion, flute voc), Olaf Hesse D (perc), Andro Valverde CHL (perc, flute), Jürgen Kauffmann D (bass)

La Maga combines Peruvian vocals, Colombian guitar, Chilean percussion and German bass and accordion to create a unique sound. The diverse rhythms they play range from Latin American folklore sounds such as cumbia, Argentinian chacarera, vals criollo, landó and Afro-Peruvian festejo to more urban and modern sounds.
