They are one of the most innovative vocal ensembles in Germany: Of Cabbages And Kings inspire with a unique balance of soloistic radiance and collective vocal artistry. As distinguished artists, each of the four singers has her own individual signature, which effortlessly combine in the quartet to form a multi-layered whole. On their current album Commissioned Works, which will also take center stage in Bonn, they interpret works written especially for them by composers such as Sofia Jernberg, Kat Frankie and Kristin Berardi. The vocal spectrum ranges from subtle jazz harmonies to expressive experimentation and seems to be made for the impressive sound of the Kreuzkirche: colorful, intense and full of emotional power.
