Rabih Abou-Khalil is a border crosser par excellence. The Lebanese oud virtuoso combines the depth of Arabic musical traditions with the expressive power of European classical music and the freedom of jazz - unbiased, humorous and highly reflective. For decades, he has captivated the big names in jazz such as Charlie Mariano, Kenny Wheeler and Joachim Kühn - as well as classical ensembles from the Kronos Quartet to the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

Anyone who gets involved with this ensemble will not experience a "world music fusion", but an organic whole; not a stylistic collage, but a compositional signature all of its own, one that suspends opposites and transforms them into poetic narratives. Music of lasting radiance and moving beauty.
