Silje Nergaard is one of the most successful European jazz singers. She has worked with greats such as Al Jarreau and Pat Metheny, has been nominated for a Grammy and has toured halfway around the world. Now she is returning to Bonn with a special formation, her new Guitar Trio, with whom she will perform songs from her current album Tomorrow We'll Figure Out the Rest and classics such as Be Still My Heart. What seems like a chamber music setting turns out to be an energetic explosion of virtuoso guitar playing; sometimes the trio sounds like an entire orchestra. In the acoustics of the cathedral basilica, it becomes an event in which time seems to stand still - listening as medicine for the ears, heart and soul.
