Three days before the 2029 federal election, Jonas loses his father. While he struggles with his grief and tries to explain the death of his grandfather to his young son, Estelle fights for political influence in the team of top candidate Sandra Terzinger-Köhn - and against the coldness in the
Bundestag. Even a neo-Nazi attack on peaceful demonstrators is hardly worth mentioning there. Jonas and Estelle, however, share a fragile relationship - intense when they see each other, almost wordless in between. Jean-Philippe Kindler, born in Duisburg, is a satirist and political thought leader. Kindler has received many awards for his stage programs, including the Prix Pantheon and the German Cabaret Prize. He is co-founder of the left-wing podcast collective Studio Rot and works as a consultant for Die Linke. His Spiegel bestseller Scheiß auf Selflove, gib mir Klassenkampf was published in 2023. Jean-Philippe Kindler lives in Hamburg.
