„Jeder kann (Postkarten) zeichnen!“ Workshop - in Hamburg, Deutschland

Active & Creative Workshop Workshop DIY Kreativ
In the organizer's words:

Eva Dietrich is a creative director, illustrator and curator living and working in Hamburg, Germany. When Eva is not working for the creative industry, she draws.

Her illustrations are snapshots of everyday situations. She deals with themes such as identity crisis, depression and social injustice. The gendered characters in her art address friendship, anti-normative relationships and everyday struggles - avoiding stereotypes and expectations.

In 2021, Eva opened the doors of her first store for illustration in Hamburg-Altona. There she exhibits her own work as well as a curated selection of prints by various artists - predominantly female or non-binary.

In her studio, she also hosts her "Everyone can draw (postcards)!" workshops. The workshops are an invitation to a relaxed draw-together, where artist Eva talks about her work as an illustrator, shows her illustrations and then takes away your fear of drawing through exercises.

In the workshop you will learn to approach a blank sheet of paper and give free rein to your thoughts through ink drawings.
In the second part you will create a postcard motif and transfer it to a rubber stamp plate.
Afterwards you can print your own postcards using the linoleum printing process and take them home at the end or exchange them with other people from the workshop.

Duration of the workshop: 3 hours
Number of people: 2 - 5 people; larger groups on request.
Location: In Eva's studio "OK BYE Studio" or at your place.
Price per person: € 79; includes all materials, coffee, tea or soft drinks.
