Julia Langenbuchers „Seiltanzen“ feat. Dima Orsho, Anna-Lena Schnabel und Katrin Bethge

Together with the projection artist Katrin Bethge, the concert imagines the process of overthrow: it shows violence that should not be seen, the paralysis it causes, the anger that develops from recognizing this violence and leads to intense joy in the act of liberation and its preparation.

The concert lives in the understanding of art as a medium of discourse. In this sense, the composition draws on texts by the US conceptual and installation artist Jenny Holzer, who described this approach as follows: "I usually invite the reader to sort through what my works offer them and to complete the thoughts, feelings that a work evokes, to linger on them, to go deeper into them and to recoil from them. I link the language to the visual material as an aid, as an addition to take away."

Inspired by and based on the work of Gisèle Vienne and Elsa Dorlin, the concert is an attempt at visual-auditory philosophy.
