Songs from Latin America and Spain - Düsseldorf-based singer and guitarist Jochen Jasner takes us on a rousing musical journey through Argentina, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Ecuador and Andalusia in Spain.
Jasner sings tango classics by the legendary tango singer Carlos Gardel and Cuban bolero evergreens. He also performs bossa nova, rumba, milonga and poetic ballads. Moving songs to which he also has a lot to say (in German).

The former Folkwang and Robert Schumann high school student fuses classical, Latin, flamenco and percussive elements into an excellent playing technique on his guitar. This makes him a versatile interpreter of Latin American and Mediterranean music. Jasner's concerts have been described as "virtuoso and impressive multitasking with both hands and voice".
His soulful interpretations of Volver, Dos gardenias or Hijo de la luna aim for the heart and the legs - and promise an entertaining evening of songs with plenty of "sentimiento latino".
