Scenic reading with Markus Maria Winkler

The theater actor and singer Markus Maria Winkler is known for his exciting, humorous and sometimes bizarre performances. Here he devotes himself to the life and work of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in his usual entertaining manner - including acting performances of The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Erlking, excerpts from Faust I and II, To the Moon, Prometheus, as well as some folk songs that have survived to this day. You can look forward to a varied staged reading that brings the most famous German poet to life in the Pepper Theater.

Born in 1975, Markus Maria Winkler has performed at the Südbayerisches Theaterfestival, at the touring theater Das Ensemble Jacob-Schwiers and at the Festspielhaus in Munich. His own productions have appeared at more than 500 guest venues to date.
