Jonny Karacho stands for loud, honest punk rock - made for children and their parents. With distorted guitars, catchy choruses and lots of energy, he brings the rebellious power of punk back to where it belongs: in children's rooms, on festival stages and in front of dancing families.

Jonny Karacho is the brainchild of Frankfurt musician Dominik Scherer, himself a father and qualified social worker. He developed a unique concept based on the idea that children's music doesn't have to be quiet and well-behaved: punk, ska and pop - age-appropriate, humorous and with attitude. His songs are about children's everyday lives, self-determination, friendship, nonsense and simply being loud.

Since his debut album "Volle Karacho! - Punkrock für Kids" and its successor "Mamamachma!", Jonny Karacho has been inspiring a steadily growing audience. His music is available on all popular streaming platforms and his latest singles are released regularly. Live, he impresses with a rousing show in which pogoing, dancing and singing along are expressly permitted - for children and adults alike.

Jonny Karacho plays at family and children's festivals, clubs, cultural centers and open airs, effortlessly bringing generations together. His tongue-in-cheek motto sums it up: "Punk's not dead - punk is dad."
