Joost Klein (25) is an independent, self-taught and genre-building (digital) artist from Friesland in the Netherlands. His live performances captivate audiences with their sensational energy and showcase his diverse musical repertoire, ranging from gabber (pop) to pop-punk and spanning a wide range of genres. Alongside the infectious beats, clever wordplay and pop culture references, Joost's artistry is characterized by a deep honesty as he speaks fearlessly about his personal struggles with his own mental health and life choices. This unfiltered authenticity has earned him an incredibly dedicated fan base whose passionate engagement with his lyrics transcends mere music, breaking not only sonic barriers but also social taboos around these important topics.

Proof of Joost's continued success is his recent achievement of reaching number 1 in the charts in Germany and Austria with his single "Friesenjung". This outstanding achievement was made possible by his collaboration with Ski Aggu and the famous Otto Waalkes, further cementing Joost's name recognition in the music industry.
