Cellist Jörg Brinkmann's trio has been playing together for 18 years now and brings together original compositions and arrangements from the Renaissance period in a fascinating way in its current program "Labyrinth". In their concerts, the musicians focus on intimate interplay, melodies and improvisations, an arc of tension that allows the music - some of which was composed centuries ago - to appear in a new light.
The Dutchman Jeroen van Vliet, pianist, composer and piano teacher, is a master of lyrical piano playing and thus the ideal partner for the cello.
Dirk-Peter Kölsch, an open mind behind the "Schlagwerk", who has already toured the world, energetically integrates himself into the playing.
The internationally renowned cellist Jörg Brinkmann is one of the few well-known "crossover" cellists in the world.He has expanded the possibilities of the cello in his own special way and developed an unmistakable, personal sound.
