SHOSTA
SHOSTA stand for danceable melancholy and electronic hardness. Founded in
Lockdown 2020 by Peter "SHOSTA" Grimm (vocals) and since 2022 with Moritz Fris
(drums) as a permanent member, the duo forms a sound between darkwave,
bodypop and synthpop - intense, dark and uncompromising.

darkwave, bodypop and synthpop. Founded in the first lockdown in 2020 by Peter
"SHOSTA" Grimm, the project found its form in isolation, but its sound is pushing
out into the clubs and onto the stages.
With the debut album Hell of the Birds (2022), SHOSTA established a sound world that is as emotional
is as emotional as it is driving: pulsating synths, cutting beats,
haunting vocals. Since the end of 2022, Moritz Fris (drums) has brought a raw,
organic power to the project - the perfect complement to the electronic
foundation.
Musically, SHOSTA builds a bridge between Depeche Mode, And One and the
German-American Friendship (DAF). The result is a sound that goes straight
into your heart and legs: dark, intense and full of energy.
