DANCE
Small House
by Samir Akika / Unusual Symptoms
From "Funny, how?" to "Fools At Work", in-house choreographer Samir Akika has already filled many an angle between personal story, artistic experiment and dance spectacle. In "Joujouville", he now takes the Unusual Symptoms ensemble to an imaginary place of play and fantasy. With humor and absurdity, the dancers visit a space of childhood in which it is not the rules of reason but the freedom of the imagination that determines how we live together. But how innocent can you play when you are no longer a child? And what comes to light when night falls over the familiar places of the imagination?
