Jubiläumsfeier 30 Jahre FNF: Auf ihren Schultern - Fundamente feministischer Friedensarbeit
In the organizer's words:
As the Women's Network for Peace e.V., we have been campaigning for peace, human rights and social justice for 30 years now - and we would like to celebrate this anniversary together with you! Under the title "On their shoulders - foundations of feminist peace work", we would like to create a space for reminiscing, exchanging ideas and thinking ahead together. Because for us, this milestone is more than just a retrospective: It is a political moment at a time when feminism, peace work and democracy are coming under increasing pressure. Where anti-feminist forces are growing stronger and militaristic power logics are becoming more and more prevalent, democratic achievements are also beginning to falter.

The shoulders on which we stand, the shoulders of generations of PeaceWomen and feminist activists, will be the focus of our anniversary celebration. We will take a look at the history of the FNF and the women's peace movement in Germany, learn more about the peace commitment of women's groups in Latin America and discuss the challenges of feminist peace work yesterday, today and tomorrow.
