A CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY - 16TH JEWISH WEEK IN LEIPZIG
Immerse yourself in a week full of inspiration and cultural diversity - the Jewish Week Leipzig is an invitation to encounter a vibrant culture! From June 15 to 22, 2025, Leipzig invites you to the 16th Jewish Week and offers a unique opportunity to experience Jewish life, art and culture up close. The festival combines tradition and modernity and creates space for encounters, dialog and unforgettable moments.
OVER 100 EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE CITY
The Jewish Week presents a varied program with over 100 events: Concerts, readings, films, exhibitions, discussions with contemporary witnesses, theater and much more. English-language events are also part of the program - ideal for international guests.
A STRONG NETWORK
More than 60 Leipzig institutions and associations contribute to the success of the Jewish Week. From synagogues and museums to cultural initiatives - the partners reflect the deep roots of Jewish culture in the city. Leipzig can look back on almost 800 years of Jewish life and is now home to the largest Jewish community in eastern Germany after Berlin.
THE ARIOWITSCH HOUSE - CENTER OF JEWISH CULTURE
The Ariowitsch House, the cultural and meeting center of Leipzig's Jewish community, is a central venue of the festival. It impressively demonstrates the vibrancy of Jewish life in Leipzig and invites visitors to discover the diversity of Jewish culture.
