Experience an unforgettable Saturday filled with music, dance, and Argentine joie de vivre at the Ostwache in Leipzig!
On July 11, 2026, we’ll celebrate culture, community, and folklore together at the Gran Peña Folclórica Argentina “La Independiente Vol. II” with a colorful program for all ages:
🎶 Live music: Four bands and ensembles on stage:
Ata la Taba — Folklore & Tango on a European tour
Juga2 — Argentine tango duo
Semocruzao — Chacareras and Argentine folklore
Americanto — Latin American folklore ensemble with dance and choir
💃 Dance & Join In: Chacarera workshop for beginners with Gery & Nacha — a typical Argentine folk dance that anyone can learn and dance, no prior experience required
🃏 Truco Tournament: The legendary Argentine card game — open to both beginners and experts. Registration: cantapueblo.de/truco
👧 Kids’ program: Face painting, games, and a dedicated area for families
🥟 Culinary delights: Empanadas, alfajores, Argentine coffee, and sweets from Marcela, Precolombino Coffee & Good Argento
