Disappearance: Loss, option, horror vision, opportunity? Certainty? In "Verschwinden 5-8" it permeates all musical parameters. Language disappears into music. Words become experimental improvisation, free-tonal chanson fusion. Sound and text merge with scenic collage, boundaries to music disappear in onomatopoeic neologisms, fantasy idiom, wordplay, pure vocal expression. Harmonies flow into hissing, chirping, squeaking, musique concrète instrumentale with prepared piano. The contrast - here human voice, there mechanical instrument - is often exploited to the maximum. As different as the two are, they can merge: Their identity disappears, as fragile as ours. Fascinating phenomena, individual, social, cosmic.
