Voyages. These are expansive sound journeys of inner landscapes by the extraordinary British pianist Julie Sassoon. With her quartet, founded in 2015, she was recognized for her lyrical, condensed playing, which reminded the Guardian of the intensity of Keith Jarrett's solo virtuosity and the minimalism of Steve Reich, and her current album "Voyages" was voted "Jazz Album of the Month".

After classical training as a pianist and violinist, Julie Sassoon first founded her trio "Azilut!", which was praised by the Guardian as "capable of miracles". She played the music of Julius Eastmann as well as with the band Oregon or solo in the sold-out Elbphilharmonie. A concert as a shared journey.
