The madness is back. Christmas at its most ridiculous. With unbridled passion, honed through years of training in musical theater clubs. The outstanding Christmas pros Julius Fischer and Christian Meyer will celebrate the Festival of Love with all of you in their own uniquely ridiculous way! Because: No Christmas harmony without cheesy songs, no real Christmas without cheesy songs! Period. And that’s why these two pranksters have once again brought along all sorts of songs this year to passionately guide their audience into the most wonderful time of the year. Of course, they’ll never be without that sack full of one-euro instruments and gimmicks that they’ve been lugging around the country for years.

For years, they were the house band for the NDR Comedy Contest before landing their first TV show, “Comedy mit Karsten,” on MDR in 2014. Their second TV show, “slamdr,” followed in 2017. Individually or together, they’ve been nominated for the Grimme Prize and the Prix Pantheon, among others, and have won several awards. Once, they even won “4.95 euros”! Is that the level of humor? That, too.

In 2019, they finally put their joint TV career on hold and focused on bringing the damn best Christmas show in the universe to the stage.

After more than 600 concerts throughout the German-speaking world and four albums, a “Best of” compilation of their Christmas schmaltz was recently released on CD and as a download via Voland & Quist.
