KAFVKA from Berlin has been musically and politically active for many years and is committed to social justice and against the right. KAFVKA's most successful song "Alle hassen Nazis" has been streamed over 17 million times on Spotify alone and no left-wing demo is imaginable without it - this fact also speaks for itself.

KAFVKA live is a very special experience: the band becomes one with the audience, it is a collective dancing away of pain, a leap towards utopia and, as far as possible, a safe space for all people. KAFVKA strives to create a safe atmosphere for everyone at all shows, making awareness announcements and posting notices to enable everyone to enjoy a free and equal concert experience. You won't find drunken guys ranting and raving at KAFVKA shows - and if they do, the band kicks them out.

Since their first EP in 2014, the band has become much bigger than they would have ever pushed themselves to be. Jonas, Philipp, Alessio and Sascha have never pandered to the mainstream; they have nevertheless made the leap from Berlin subculture contexts to "New Music Friday Deutschland", from manageable solo concerts to the "Rock am Ring" line-up, from hobby to professional musicians. KAVFKA's declared aim is to spread the message of a better world through music and to inspire people to think and act.

KAFVKA has long since become a permanent fixture in the German-speaking band landscape - with its own label and a loyal listenership that would magnanimously forgive them even the wildest genre splits. As if that weren't enough, the four-piece are outgrowing the niche they have created with each album, opening up to a much broader target group in a completely organic yet noticeable way. Theoretically, given their current reach, KAFVKA could shift down a gear in terms of lyrical concreteness - but the band is too upset, too pissed off, too in need of communication for that. Paradoxically, however, KAFVKA do not lose their connectivity - and that is the great feat. Because they always link their undogmatically presented content to great emotions; because they don't bite off more than they can chew, always exude a positive vibe and find a conciliatory twist.

"Better a fanbase that stays than a hype that fades" KAFVKA are happy here in this place they have created for themselves. However, the band is far too hungry to recognize this place as the destination of their dreams - after all, there's a world to win.
