Oliver Kalkofe, presenter, actor, bestselling author and above all: movie fan. From now on he will be presenting his favorite films at the Colosseum cinema in his unmistakable way. An event for the whole family. Cinema as it used to be. Experience the great classics on the big screen - with an introduction by Oliver Kalkofe and lots of anecdotes and background knowledge. Plus: popcorn, the Langnese ice cream man and much more. Who wants to stream when you can relive the cinema feeling of the 80s ...?

Oliver Kalkofe started his career in the legendary radio comedy show FRÜHSTYXRADIO before switching to television in the mid-nineties. His razor-sharp media satire KALKOFES MATTSCHEIBE made him one of Germany's best-known comedians and was awarded the Grimme Prize and the German Comedy Prize, among others. In the cinema, he thrilled audiences with Bastian Pastewka in the Edgar Wallace parodies DER WIXXER and NEUES VOM WIXXER, and since 2013 he has been presenting 'Die schlechtesten Filme aller Zeiten' (The worst films of all time) with Peter Rütten in the cult show #SchleFaZ.

For almost 30 years, he has appeared in TV Spielfilmwith his column KALKOFES LETZTE WORTE, and together with Oliver Welke he has been a weekly guest on the currently most successful ARD podcast KALK & WELK - DIE FABELHAFTEN BOOMER-BOYS since 2022 . He has also been a regular guest on the NDR satire program eXTRA 3 for many years and in summer 2024 he launched his new comedy panel show FAKING BAD - BESSER ALS DIE WAHRHEIT on ARD. In 2024, Oliver Kalkofe received the DONNEPP MEDIA AWARD from the Grimme Institute and published his book Sieg der Blödigkeit, which was on the SPIEGEL bestseller list for a total of eight weeks.
