The Philippines is a nation obsessed with karaoke. Both in the archipelago and in the diaspora, no party or gathering is complete without this special musical event. Karaoke serves as a suitable therapeutic agent in every situation in life - against homesickness and lovesickness, for courage and good humor, for self-assurance or to strengthen the community. During "Sincerely Yours, the Philippines", the Mousonturm restaurant will therefore be transformed into a karaoke bar at regular intervals. Whether cuddly rock, electro-pop, punk or power ballads, whether crooked or in tune, self-confident or delicately groping - all genres, vocal styles and singers are welcome.
