Karneval der Kulturen Straßenumzug

At Whitsun 2026, the Carnival of Cultures celebrates its 30th anniversary. Hundreds of thousands of people will come together to experience diversity, community and cultural exchange - safely, respectfully and sustainably.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the big carnival parade will start at Proskauer Straße, as it did last year, from where the route will lead along Frankfurter Allee / Karl-Marx-Allee towards Alexanderplatz. In front of the Kosmos cinema, a jury will honor the 67 registered groups whose performances make the diversity of the city visible.

For the 30th time, we will come together and experience our beloved Berlin in a different way. Look forward to committed, creative, magnificent and, above all, diverse groups who want to bring socially relevant topics closer to you through artistic performances and a great deal of atmosphere. Set off with the Allen, be inspired, get into conversation with each other, spin visions and ask courageous questions.
