Sometimes it doesn’t take much.
A place. Good people. Some music. Something to eat. Time to chat with one another.

KARO KOMM RUM is an open house for the Karoviertel neighborhood and anyone who feels like stopping by. For neighbors, friends, artists, collectives, music lovers, and everyone in between.

Admission is free. Important: Access to the festival grounds is only possible with a free €0 ticket. However, when purchasing your ticket, you can voluntarily make a donation to two Hamburg-based projects that promote cultural participation, community, and connection:

• the Frauenmusikzentrum Hamburg (fmz), which has been creating spaces for girls and FLINTA people for many years to make music, try new things, and network.

• OLL INKLUSIV, an initiative combating loneliness among older adults that brings people aged 60 and older together through cultural, physical activity, and social programs.

We’ll kick things off at 3 p.m. with a group breathwork and yoga session led by vibrænt and Fabienne, accompanied by relaxing beats.

Starting at 4 p.m., the grounds will fill with food, drinks, culture, creative projects, and people who bring the neighborhood to life. A day for meeting new people, reconnecting, lingering, and discovering.

As the afternoon slowly turns into evening, the music takes over, co-curated by Res Nullius. House and tech house will accompany the sunset, while chance encounters spark conversations—and those conversations might just lead to the first dance of the night.

Starting at 10 p.m., we’ll head over together to the afterparty at Kosmos Karoline. There, the journey through house and techno continues deep into the night.

KARO KOMM RUM is part of the 45Hertz Festival and, at the same time, an invitation to give something back together.

No big concept. No VIP. Just come by.
