No one knows Kasi? Rather unlikely after 2023. Because he's in the fast lane! His first headlining tour is completely sold out. His first EP already has over 11 million streams and his upbeat, melancholic indie pop with casual rap influences has taken the audience at festivals by storm. Whether the Southside, Deichbrand or Reeperbahnfestival. People know Kasi now. Especially after his latest release "immatrikuliert", which was released on November 17 and went through the roof at lightning speed on TikTok. One million views and countless new monthly listeners on Spotify are the proof.

Kasi really does go into his sessions unprepared, writing entirely depending on the form of the day. He lets himself drift, doesn't want to bow to any image. Whether every note is right? Not so important at first, as long as the atmosphere is right. In the wake of "Vielleicht in einem Jahr", Kasi is now making his debut with the major Sony Music label he recently signed with in January 2022. In the song, Kasi makes his emotional life transparent, writing a sincere letter to a person who means the world to him despite an interpersonal rift. Pointed wordplay and a shallow guitar riff, which runs through the track as a constant, culminate in a catchy hook that is already circulating prominently on TikTok.

The Frankfurt native has been adding his restless indie sound to the German music landscape since 2022. His parents introduced him to indie, rock and punk, later he discovered hip hop for himself and you can hear it. Kasi moves playfully through genres. Together with Antonius, he produces his music and lets his lyrics sound almost effortlessly over the music. After accompanying Ennio and BADCHIEFF on their tours, in 2024 "Kasi goes on tour" through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He will be playing 24 dates across the German-speaking countries on his upcoming 2024 tour. And he's getting his driver's license to do it!
