Last fall, Kat Frankie surprised, moved to tears and thrilled audiences with her B O D I E S project. At the time, she sold out the Elbphilharmonie concert hall, among other venues. The show with her a cappella ensemble drew standing ovations from the audience. And the sound is indeed a very special one: without instruments, the eight-piece ensemble delivers an astonishing range of human emotions. Sometimes incredibly powerful, sometimes tender and thoughtful, Frankie's compositions range from passionate to playful with the physical strength of eight women.
