Katharina Obermaier: THE SHOW MUST GO WRONG

The NODEPRESSIONROOM is showing works by the artist Katharina Obermaier from 20.01.- 02.02.2025.

Under the title "the show must go wrong", the artist immerses herself in the emotional world of circus life - but far removed from the dazzling circus ring. With powerful yet subtle painterly works, she takes a look behind the scenes: at the drama, the expectations and life behind the curtain.

Obermaier traces the nuances - between splendor and fragility, between smiles and melancholy. Her works hold up a mirror to everyday life, in which appearance and reality are often at odds. A multi-layered view of the dazzling façade, behind which another reality is concealed.

The shop window exhibition is illuminated daily from 8 am to 11 pm.
