The Heimatverein Oberneuland presents, together with the music agency Emotional.Zone, the event app Rausgegangen Oldenburg, DownTownIslandRadio and Cafe-Schwarz.TV live music every 3rd Wednesday from October to April. From 19:00 to 21:00, whereby... the end of the concert is largely determined by the audience (i.e. you)! From May to September, EDEKA Maaßkultur then takes over the open air concerts on the market square of Edeka Maaß every Wednesday

"Katjas Cabaret" is a glamorous mixture of chanson, humor and heart - a musical stage program with tongue-in-cheek elegance.

The combination of the power of songs by Liza Minelli, Barbra Streisand, Edith Piaf, but also Evelyn Künnecke and Peggy Lee, and their vulnerability, creates a versatile and very personal program with which the singer will make her debut in 2022.
The combination of authenticity and charm, glitz & glam works. With her mix of swing, jazz, chansons & musical and swing classics, Katja Agena takes her audience on her journey, and everyone feels addressed at some point. Her passion for the different musical genres is infectious, she has a powerful voice and makes time stand still for an evening.

The singer has lived on Langeoog for over 20 years and has been at home in jazz and swing for more than 15 years. After working in London, Paris and Accra, she has also found her musical home on Langeoog.

In 2020 she released her first swing CD "Katja S(w)ingt", with classics by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, among others, whose music has accompanied her all her life. In 2023 she records her 2nd CD with pieces from her cabaret. She performs her program on East Frisian islands and on the mainland.

In November 2025 she can be seen in the Nordstory on NDR and reaches the final of the European singing competition "Tour Music Fest" in San Marino.
