The Weserburg Museum of Modern Art is showing Kay Rosen's first institutional solo exhibition in Europe. The US-American (*1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas, lives in New York City and Gary, Indiana) has been using language as artistic material since the 1970s. She is internationally renowned above all for wall works that reproduce individual words, sentences or sequences of letters, often in enormous size. Minimalist form, aesthetic power and intelligent content come together impressively here.
