Keller Klub Poetry Slam im Kulturquartier

Poetry, schnapps & rock'n'roll - at Stuttgart's biggest poetry slam!

A full house, an excellent atmosphere, schnapps and the best, most eloquent, most successful and most beautiful poetry slammers in the region on stage - that's what the Keller Klub Poetry Slam stood for for more than ten years. After the Keller Klub closed, we simply packed up the wonderful audience, the stars of the German-speaking poetry slam scene and the euphoric atmosphere and moved to Club Universum directly on Charlottenplatz. Now we've moved once again: to the Kulturquartier in Club Proton - right next to Rotebühlplatz. For our audience, this means more space than before and a perfect view of the stage from all seats.

Launched in 2009 as an offshoot of the Rosenau Poetry Slam, the Stuttgart Poetry Slam in the Keller Klub has been sold out almost continuously for over a decade. At Stuttgart's biggest poetry slam, a selection of the best slam poets from all over the German-speaking world compete against each other every month in a wonderful club atmosphere.

In terms of content and style, almost anything goes at the Keller Klub Poetry Slam in the Kuturquartier - as long as the texts are self-written. Sophisticated poetry meets subtle comedy, rap meets prose, literary cabaret meets seriousness. But it never gets boring.
