On June 9, 2024, pop icon Kerstin Ott will be performing on the open-air stage at the Stadthalle Bremerhaven.
Kerstin Ott's music is unique - her lyrics go straight to the ear and from there to the heart. They encourage, give hope and create an invisible bond of solidarity. The Berlin native often sings about her own past, tells stories from her life, shares highs and lows - showing herself to be vulnerable and authentic. Her open and likeable manner creates a special warmth and charisma, especially on stage. With her extraordinary charm and the way she doesn't always take herself too seriously, but rather enjoys life, she creates a light, enjoyable, cheerful atmosphere that makes people forget their everyday lives for more than just one evening. It is not unusual for the content of her songs to resonate for a long time. The singer/songwriter also tackles socially critical topics, as can be easily seen in her hit "Regenbogenfarben" (Rainbow Colors), which develops an enormous amount of energy, especially live, not least because of its important message.
Her success is reflected in her awards: 1.6 million units sold, five albums in the TOP 4, over 700 million single streams, triple gold, various double platinum and even a diamond award (for "Die immer lacht"). In addition to a strong personality and special vocal talent, it also takes a knack for really good songwriting, hard work and a bit of luck to be in the right place at the right time. All this explains why Kerstin Ott is not only one of the most popular and successful artists in the German-speaking world, but why she has become a real phenomenon in just a few years. The affection of her fans is particularly evident at her concerts, which are no less successful - quite the opposite. And so it is already clear that she will return to the stage next year after her "Best Ott" tour in 2023/2024 to go on a big open-air tour through Germany in summer 2024.
