On June 26 and 27, 2026, the Kessel Festival will enter its sixth edition and once again transform the Cannstatter Wasen, the riding stadium and the Neckar River into a huge open-air area full of music, sport, creativity and visions for the future. What began with a successful premiere in 2019 has long since developed into one of the most versatile major events in Stuttgart.

With a total of seven stages, the festival offers a broad musical spectrum: from major German headliner acts to up-and-coming newcomers. The main stage will once again bring some of the biggest names in the scene to Stuttgart in 2026, while the culture stage offers a platform for young talents to bring their own sound to the city.

But the Kessel Festival is much more than just music: numerous sports and fun sports clubs from Stuttgart and the surrounding area invite you to join in, present trend sports and show how diverse exercise in the Kessel can be. In addition, the day-after-tomorrow market attracts visitors with sustainable ideas, innovative projects and interactive formats that invite them to try them out. The weekend is rounded off by a lovingly designed children's and family program that makes a visit to the festival exciting for all generations.
