The rapid pace of technological development in recent decades not only affects society, but also poses questions and challenges for religions. The development of artificial intelligence seems to be crowning it all and demonstrating that humans no longer seem to need religion in a fully networked world with AI-based support systems and possibilities. But is that the case? What does the future of spirituality and theological debate look like? What does finiteness still mean when AI suggests immortality? How are religions responding to this development? The Islamic philosopher of religion and author of the book "Gott 2.0. Grundfragen einer KI der Religion" Prof. Dr. Ahmad Milad Karimi will discuss this with us.
