Kidical Mass Dortmund

In the organizer's words:

What is the Kidical Mass Dortmund?
We take back the streets and ride through the city for an hour in the middle of the road. On bicycles, scooters and in child trailers. The route and pace are also suitable for the little ones. Everyone is welcome, including adults without children. The tour is registered with the police as a demonstration. They secure the route and keep an eye on the cars. The destination is usually a park where there is plenty of space to run around.

Why does it exist?
Because we want a city where children and young people can ride their bikes safely and independently. And because we want to show that there are many children and families who want more open spaces and safe cycle paths.

The next Kidical Mass will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
It starts at 2 pm in Tremoniapark!
The destination is also Tremoniapark!

This time there will be the following feeder routes from the city districts.
The departure times have been adjusted so that the Tremoniapark can be reached in good time:

• Huckarde: 12.45 p.m., Marktplatz
• Wambel: 12.45 p.m., Pothecke
• Hörde: 12.45 pm, Schlanke Mathilde
• Eving: 12.45 pm, Evinger Platz
• Dorstfeld: 1.15 p.m., Wilhelmplatz
• Körne: 1.00 p.m., Am Zehnthof streetcar stop
• Unionviertel: 1.30 p.m., Heinrich-Schmitz-Platz
• Nordstadt: 1.15 p.m., Nordmarkt
