Kids’ Gartenklub

Join us for the garden sessions at 2075, a commissioned garden designed by artist Asad Raza in the KW’s backyard.

Children, families, neighbors, and gardening enthusiasts can come together to learn more about the life of plants and the power of the soil, and to learn about community gardening.

Gardening and caring for our environment are fundamental skills that are often lacking in urban settings, especially among young people and children growing up in the city. With community gardener and horticulturist Max Kanter and landscape architect Lauren Hamer, you’ll gain gardening knowledge while having fun tending to the garden.

There will also be a small corner for children, parents, and neighbors who’d like to draw and paint.

Please keep in mind that your clothes may get dirty or wet during the gardening session. Gloves will be provided if needed.
