"A puppet show now, we want to show you, a Punch and Judy show that revolves around Grandma and the eternal life cycle that old and young often go badly together". This verse, sung by the comedians at the beginning of the performance, is the intention of the play: the eternal human "generation gap".
However, the KIKERIKI THEATER does not even attempt to resolve this conflict. It is simply the comedians' desire to bring this everyday problem of living together to the stage in a disrespectful and satirical way. And since some people have already asked themselves whether the whole world isn't ultimately just one big Punch and Judy show, our puppets, as three-dimensional caricatures, are the best actors for all the "blockheads" in the world.
