Kinderfest in der Kulturbrauerei und Brandenburger BioFest

To celebrate World Children’s Day, the Kulturbrauerei grounds in Prenzlauer Berg will once again be transformed into a playground for children of all ages. The event will feature a diverse cultural program with workshops and attractions for everyone who wants to learn something new, get creative, or simply let off some steam to their heart’s content.

The “Brandenburger BioFest” is part of the big children’s festival at the Kulturbrauerei. True to the motto “Brandenburg: Sustainability Meets Enjoyment,” the Berlin-Brandenburg Association for the Promotion of Organic Farming (FÖL) is transforming the Kulturbrauerei’s courtyards into a large organic farm. Numerous representatives from organic farming, beekeeping, and environmental and nature conservation organizations will be coming to Prenzlauer Berg to inspire families about organic farming, healthy eating, and environmental protection. The focus will be on small businesses from Brandenburg’s tourism regions.

The activity area features a wide variety of rural games and hands-on activities: a straw bounce house, grain baths to wade in and out of, a children’s bakery, a potato field for self-harvesting, milking contests, egg collecting, and much more.

The Sunday street food market “Street Food auf Achse” is also part of the event and offers culinary delights and refreshments.

In addition, many venues on the grounds—such as the museum and the Tempo Reale Theater School—will open their doors, offering a glimpse into the Kulturbrauerei’s program.
