In the organizer's words:
Cornelius Meister comes from Hanover, studied here at the HMTMH and was a Bayreuth scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Association Hanover in 1998, of which he has been an honorary member since 2008. Meister has been General Music Director of the Stuttgart State Opera since 2018. He returns to Hanover on 8 and 9 May to conduct a program of works by Johannes Brahms and Anton Bruckner with the NDR Radiophilharmonie.
