Klassik am Odeonsplatz 2024 - Symphonieorchester BR
In the organizer's words:
Klassik am Odeonsplatz will open on July 12, 2024 with chief conductor Sir Simon Rattle conducting the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Anja Kampe and Michael Volle, two of the best Wagner interpreters of our time, will be guests. They will perform a rousing selection from Richard Wagner's "Die Walküre": "Walkürenritt" and the finale of the third act. The Symphony No. 2 in D major by Johannes Brahms will also be performed.
