A look at the history of furniture opens up unexpected perspectives for its preservation. Using your own chair, table or box as an example, you will learn simple basic restoration techniques and historical materials.
The course is aimed at participants with manual skills and basic knowledge of wood as a material. One small piece of furniture can be worked on per course.
Consumables are already included in the course price. There are additional costs for special material requests.
All furniture must be presented to the course instructor at the HEI before registering for the course in order to clarifyits suitability for the course. (Tues. during the consultation hours of S. Schubert, 18.00-21.00)
