Kokonelle & ROPA

In the organizer's words:

KOKONELLE is a multidimensional artist from Munich with Congolese roots. Her music combines hip-hop, R'n'B, Afro and soul - multilingual in English, German, French and Lingala. Her songs are about identity, resistance, radical tenderness and self-empowerment. Kokonelle is also active off stage: as an educational consultant, visual artist and curator, she consciously sees art as a political practice. At the end of 2025, she released her debut EP "Release", a six-part project between empowerment and vulnerability, which was picked up by BR Zündfunk, Gasteig Magazin and Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others. With expressive live performances, music videos and workshops, Kokonelle is a powerful voice of a new artistic generation.

ROPA is a Zimbabwe-born, up-and-coming artist based in Munich. She is a rapper, singer, songwriter, but above all a DJ. She mixes Amapiano, Afrohouse, Afrotech, Dancehall, Hip Hop and a touch of Afrobeats. "My inspirations include Doja Cat and Amorphous. I make music and playlists and look forward to giving people something that makes them open their Shazam."
