Phyllis Schwartz: Exploring Landscapes

Workshop as part of the Berlinage Festival:
In this workshop we will explore how landscapes can reflect moods, memories and identity. Using collage, you will "build" your landscape from paper of different colors and textures, random image snippets and intentionally selected elements. You can bring photos of places that mean something to you or choose from the materials provided. You don't need any previous knowledge of art - just curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
Phyllis Schwartz, born in Brooklyn, is a photographer, ceramic and collage artist and author. Together with Edward Peck, she regularly creates art projects for various groups.
