PLATTENBAU

[Plattenbau (commie block in German) is an international Berlin-based foursome that fuses elements of post-punk, noise rock and wave into a dark and intense potion. Their sound blends robotic drums, gothy basslines, mystical guitars and paranoid synths into a mood akin to a 90s VHS horror soundtrack, tied together with deep, brooding vocals. The result is a sonic experience that feels both chaotic and meticulously crafted, on brand with their slogan "Tight, loose and evil".

[DE] Plattenbau is an international Berlin quartet that fuses elements of post-punk, noise rock and wave into a dark, intense concoction. Plattenbau's sound combines mechanical-sounding drums, goth-inspired bass lines, mystical guitars and paranoid, wailing synths to create a mixture reminiscent of the soundtrack to a 90s horror movie. The whole thing is held together by intimate, deep and gloomy vocals. The result is a sound world that is both chaotic and carefully composed - in keeping with their motto: "Tight, loose and evil".

FRAUENSTRASSE

[Frauenstrasse is loud, raw, and uncompromising; somewhere between synthpunk, NDW, and poetry. In their current phase, the sound is becoming more open: more room for improvisation, more space for the unexpected. Between impulsive moments and deliberately placed accents, new areas of tension arise between techno-punk sequences and fleeting, improvised soundscapes. They disintegrate, are reassembled, stretched or condensed live. Between controlled ecstasy and spontaneous release, something emerges that cannot be planned, but must be experienced.
